Our Commitment to Diversity
Chicago Restaurant Partners is fully committed to diversity and engaged in our community. As part of the Metropolitan Pier & Exposition Authority (MPEA), Chicago Restaurant Partners encourages minority and women-owned businesses to participate in our procurement process. We work with many local minority-owned firms in our foodservice operations throughout the year. For more information on how to do business with us, please visit the MPEA web site at: http://www.mpea.com/diversity/diversity.html.
Our Commitment to Green Initiatives
Like you, we care deeply about the world we live in and want to do our part to bring sustainable environmental practices to our day-to-day operations. Our team is committed to changes large and small that are already having a major impact, from improving recycling rates to eliminating polystyrene and adding new food-based biodegradable serveware.
We've even helped to build a garden atop McCormick Place's West Building. Each summer a portion of the rooftop garden grows herbs and vegetables that are harvested for use in creating the fresh tasting menus our clients expect from Chicago Restaurant Partners' talented culinary experts. Another benefit of this garden is to reduce the building's heat island effect while also reducing the energy required for heating and cooling. Watch here for updates on our green initiatives.
